Dear Friends,

This year presented our school with unprecedented challenges, as well as new opportunities. Like most of the world, we adjusted our programs and operations in response to the COVID-19 global health crisis. On-campus programs were suspended. Students faced challenges and uncertainty with travel and safety. Thankfully, we had our online programs in place and were able to continue offering Tibetan Medicine education to our students and community. Our school faculty, staff, and Board of Directors worked hard to ensure the continuity and development of our programs in this difficult time.

This year we launched a new webpage and our ongoing webinar series. Through this program we have had the honor of hosting many impressive leaders, scholars, and luminaries in various fields. We connect with a larger, more diverse audience, and present the principles of Tibetan Medicine to the world. With our webinar series we are able to increase awareness of Tibetan Medicine and promote its relevance to the greater conversation of health and medicine today. This has been an exciting and rewarding program for our school!

Our work at the Shang Shung School of Tibetan Medicine is made possible by the continuing support of our global community. The connection with our students, colleagues, friends and supporters is vital to the survival of our school. Your collaboration and support help bring the vision of our school Founder, Chogyal Namkhai Norbu, into reality; to sustain and develop that vision for this world.
