With deep joy, I extend my heartfelt gratitude to Oliver Leick, who guided the three-day retreat in Paris with such clarity, precision, and warmth, transmitting the timeless teachings of Chögyal Namkhai Norbu and Namkhai Yeshi.
With great simplicity, generosity, and authenticity, Oliver shared the Longde teachings and he showed us all the positions that serve as supports for the practice. His explanations, grounded in his own experience, brought clarity and confidence to our understanding, helping each of us to touch the living essence of Longde.
It was the first time since the original teachings of our Master that we have been able to receive this transmission again — a rare and precious opportunity that fills our hearts with gratitude.
Around thirty practitioners gathered in situ and several hundreds online – some long-time students walking this path for many years, others meeting these profound teachings for the first time. For all of us, Oliver’s guidance was deeply supportive and transformative: experienced practitioners found renewed depth and understanding, while newcomers discovered an open and direct way into the essence of the practice.
We would also like to offer special thanks to Palriling and to everyone who contributed to making this retreat possible, through their care, dedication, and joyful collaboration.
