In Memory of Chögyal Namkhai Norbu
Dear friends,
We are pleased to share with you the programme for 27 September 2026, marking eight years since the passing of our Master Chögyal Namkhai Norbu.
It will be a very special day, opening in the morning with teachings by Master Namkhai Yeshi in the Gönpa of Merigar, followed in the afternoon by the inauguration, in Arcidosso, of Via Maestro Norbu (formerly Via Tibet); the day will continue with the celebration of MACO’s tenth anniversary, during which “Arté”, the site-specific exhibition by Namkhai Yeshi, will also be inaugurated.
The day will close in the evening with a concert in Via Maestro Norbu (formerly Via Tibet) in Arcidosso, where Namkhai Yeshi and Alessandro Di Maio will present their two new electronic music albums, both dedicated to the memory of Chögyal Namkhai Norbu: “27”, by Namkhai Yeshi, and “Sounds from the Bardo”, by Alessandro Di Maio.

The Museum of Oriental Art and Culture celebrates ten years of activity with the inauguration of Arté, a site-specific exhibition by Namkhai Yeshi.

Namkhai Yeshi’s teachings will be broadcast via webcast; to attend, please register using the form below. You will receive the link to join online the day before the event.
