A week to set the base for learning the Classical Tibetan Language and to exert yourself in reading, writing, and understanding the texts of the Tibetan tradition. We will have a general introduction to the sacrality, importance, and structure of the language, the lettering system and so forth. Then we will examine the morphology of syllables, word formation and all the main features of the grammar. The course will be held in English and/or Italian, according to participants.

 In order to be able to participate in that course all participants need to be member of the Shang Shung Institute Austria in 2015.
 
Four hours lectures daily: 10.00-12.00am and 2.00-4.00pm
Fee: 65 Euro with 10% Early-Bird discount until July 15th 2015
