At the end of September and in the first half of October, we were lucky enough to hold two Vajra Dance retreats in the gompa of Sangyeling Dzogchen Community in St. Petersburg, Russia.

A training retreat on the Vajra Dance that Benefits Beings, under the guidance of a teacher Anna Apraksina, was held from September 28 to October 1, and the beginners had the opportunity to learn and start practicing the method of combining contemplation with movement.

Then, on October 12-13, both St. Petersburg Vajra Dance teachers, Tatiana Gerasimova and Anna Apraksina, held a corrective practical retreat on all Vajra Dances. During these two days, beginners who learned the Vajra Dance that Benefits Beings, were able to review their knowledge, while long-standing practitioners had the opportunity to ask questions, clarify, and hone their movements.

At the corrective retreat, we covered:

  • Vajra Dance that Benefits Beings,
  • Dance of the Three Vajras,
  • Dance of the Song of the Vajra

Participants of the retreat are really grateful and thank our dear dance teachers for a unique opportunity to improve their practice!
