Dancehouse in Hungary

Dear Vajra brothers and sisters! We would like to let you know that in Hungary we have started a Dancehouse with the Khaita Joyful Dances, which started in the Autumn of 2014.

In this context Dancehouse means a regularly held event with the Tibetan Modern Dances, where anyone who is interested can participate with the Tibetan songs and dances. It is held by the members and practitioners of the Hungarian Dzogchen Community, approximately 8-12 people. It takes place twice a month, where we are dancing for about 2 hours, mainly the Kordros and some easier dances. New people are happy to participate!

We have done as much publicity as possible to let people know about the event, and about the Tibetan songs and dances, which are so fantastic to practice in one’s life. This brings benefit to the Tibetan people and also contributes to the maintenance of Tibetan culture.

This event has also the importance that the Dzogchen Community can enter into people’s everyday life by presenting the knowledge and understanding that the songs and dances are keeping in themselves and, of course, by practicing them, one can have a great benefit.
