Galdan Dugarov was born on June 15, 2020 (the 25th Day of the 4th Tibetan Month of the Fire Sheep) in Helsinki, Finland to the family of Chingis Dugarov and Kishta.
He is the 11th grandchild of Batodalai Dugarov, famous Buryatian Dzogchen practitioner and thanka painter. Galdan’s name was given by Lama Zorik, the Khenpo of Palbarling Dzogchen Community and Monastery in Buryatia.
