Last Sunday, October 20th, the first ever Tibetan game tournament of Bagchen took place at Rinchenling. This game, like many others, was taught by Chögyal Namkhai Norbu to his students, and for many years we have enjoyed this game both among ourselves and at the same table with Rinpoche.
At the end of September and in the first half of October, we were lucky enough to hold two Vajra Dance retreats in the gompa of Sangyeling Dzogchen Community in St. Petersburg, Russia.
On Thursday, December 8, Chögyal Namkhai Norbu’s birthday, Sangyeling (St. Petersburg, Russia) had a community meeting at the Gompa and in Zoom and elected a new Gakyil.
We are glad to share a mini photo-report from the recent master class on thangka painting with Nikolai Dudko which took place from September 30 to October 2, 2022 at Kunsangar North.
Over four days we danced the Dance of the Song of the Vajra 108 times. It was a beautiful retreat which started with signs: on the first day of the retreat there was a halo and a rainbow and at the end of the retreat it was the same, but the rainbow was without rain.

This year there was a very long, snowy winter. It was not easy for the Gar, but thanks to the cooperation in the Community, the coordinated work of the staff at the Gar, joint practice, and the help of volunteers, we managed it.
An intensive online retreat on the practice of Green Tara with Oliver Leick took place at Kunsangar North from April 1 to April 10. The retreat turned out to be fantastically interesting and useful.
In May, Sangyeling (Dzogchen Community of St. Petersburg, Russia) lost two of its members – Kolya Olshevskiy and Galya Khasyanova. The Gakyil wrote some words in memory of the deceased.
