Early in the morning of Tuesday, 23 January, 2024, our dear Anna Eid passed away peacefully in the Amiata area close to Merigar. Anna was a familiar face in the Dzogchen Community for many years as she was one of Chögyal Namkhai Norbu’s assistants during some of his travels around the world. She also took care of the Master for several years as a housekeeper at Gadeling, his residence near Merigar, and also at Tashigar North in Margarita Island, Venezuela. Anna was part of the Gakyil in Margarita during her time there.
In her later years she cared for the garden around the Merigar gönpa and also at Gadeling.
Anna passed away in hospital and is now at home where she will remain until Saturday January 27 when she will be taken for cremation.
