With deep sorrow, yet with gratitude for the moments we shared, we bid farewell to Martin Bugter.
A friend and practitioner devoted to the teachings of eminent masters – Namkhai Norbu Rinpoche, Yongdzin Tenzin Namdak Rinpoche and Khenpo Tenpa Yundrung Rinpoche.

Martin embodied both inner strength and an extraordinary gentleness of heart.
He was present at many of the early retreats, where he devotedly and skillfully recorded the teachings, ensuring they would be preserved for future generations.

In everyday life, Martin emanated both austerity and a sense of calm, warmth, and understanding.

Thank you, Martin, for your presence, for every smile, for your hard work for the Dzogchen and Yungdrung Bon communities, for every kind word, and for your dedication to the teachings, which are a light on the path for so many of us.

May your journey be light and peaceful,
and may the merit of your actions illuminate the path for all beings.

With gratitude and love – your friends and the community of practitioners. We are not entirely sure of the hour of Martin’s passing but we believe that he passed away on June 8th.

Please include Martin In Your Prayers
