With Oliver Leick from October 30, 2026 – November 1, 2026
Last weekend, the Munich Gakyil YESHILING organized a well-attended Dzogchen Longde retreat weekend with Oliver Leick in Widdersberg near Munich/Germany. It turned out to be a special event, as this marked the very first time the teachings of the Vajra Bridge of Longde were presented in Germany and in German!
Oliver shared as much foundational Longde knowledge with us as was possible in the short time available and facilitated experiences with the Longde postures and the 4 Das. Those among the 30 participants who did not yet have their own meditation stick crafted very creative solutions under Oliver’s guidance: from old walking sticks, children’s brooms, a camera tripod with small cushion, hazelnut sticks, a spade handle, and a paint roller with a telescoping pole. Simple suitcase straps proved to be effective as meditation belts … working with circumstances :).
We spent three relaxed and inspiring days together with Oliver, receiving Longde teachings according to Chögyal Namkhai Norbu and Namkhai Yeshi, and a Ganapuja with Marme Mönlam served as a very beautiful conclusion. The Gakyil of YESHILING is very pleased that Oliver held out the prospect of another, longer Longde practice retreat for next year!
