“Longsal Ati Gongpa Gojyed – Opening the State of Ati Understanding”
with Chögyal Namkhai Norbu, May 23-31, 2014
On May 19th, a wonderful sunny afternoon, a smiling Rinpoche arrives at the doorstep to his house in the village of 23 August, near Merigar East where he is welcomed by his students from Romania, Czech Republic, Poland, Bulgaria, Slovakia, Ukraine and Chile.
May 20-22, the sunny days continue and a workshop of Tibetan Dances is held with Tsering Dolker and Topgyal Gontse. Tsering – the first from the left and Topgyal – in the yellow t-shirt in the middle – lead the workshop in the morning. In the afternoon hours they join the Tibetan Songs & Dances sessions with Rinpoche supported by Adriana Dal Borgo. Thank you Tsering and Topgyal so very very much for all your patience and infinite energy!

This is the ground floor and terrace of the multi-functional house currently under construction at Merigar East! Thanks to a very generous donor the construction works began this spring and, we hope, will be finalized this autumn. The building will include a new spacious dining area combined with a terrace, a few retreat rooms and offices for practitioners, instructors, the gakyil and residents of Merigar East.
More and more tents are coming. This style of accommodation is very much preferred, not just because it’s cheap, but because it offers our practitioners the opportunity to become karma yogis and contribute with the retreat organization while remaining on site. One of our priorities is to enhance the camping area.

About 170 practitioners from all over Europe came to Merigar East to enjoy being together with our Master for at least 9 days.
