We are happy to inform you that the new Mirror PDF issue, #148, is up on line and ready for downloading.
The issue has many interesting articles inside, including two teachings by Chögyal Namkhai Norbu — explanations on Ati Yoga given just before the New Year of 2018 at Dzamling Gar, and instructions on Bodhicitta given during the Easter retreat at Merigar in 1991. The teachings are preceded by a poem dedicated to the Covid situation written by Elio Guarisco, which we used as an editorial.
We offer a message with the latest news from the International Gakyil, followed by the teaching on loving kindness for challenging times by His Eminence Garchen Rinpoche which he kindly gave during the webinar with Menpa Phuntsog Wangmo and Dr. Adam Okerblom from the Shang Shung Institute School of Tibetan Medicine, USA.
The issue presents updates on SSI Austria’s Ka-ter Project, the new Drajyor reference site, new translations on the Khaita.com website, SSI UK’s celebration of their 10th anniversary, School for Tibetan Language and Translation, and ASIA, as well as news of different Gars living and continuing online activities during quarantine time.
On page 34 Alix de Fermor, designer and creator of the new Moon Garden at Dzamling Gar, Tenerife, talks about the inspiration for the garden and the many wonderful exotic plants that it contains.

Our Vajra sister Evgenia Edoutova talks about her trip to China, local life and habits, and the meaning of collaboration with Sangha to her.

The new issue offers two reviews — one by Jacqueline Gens of Rosemary Rawcliffe’s award winning film The Great 14th Tenzin Gyatso, The 14th Dalai Lama In His Own Words, the other Alexander Studholme’s review of a collection of scholarly articles on Padmasambhava, edited by Geoffrey Samuel and Jamyang Oliphant.
Then in Pictures of the Past, a series recounting retreats, travels and moments spent with Chögyal Namkhai Norbu during his travels and teachings across the globe, Costantino Albini shares his memories of the 1976 Subiaco retreat.
Crimean chödma and self-taught jeweller Lidiya Dzhebisashvili talks about her creative path on her spiritual voyage in our regular column Community Artists.
