Dear Vajra family,
We would like to inform you about news of our project – restoration of the Gönpa foundations at Wangdenling, the center of the Slovak Dzogchen Community.
In the autumn of 2021 we started with the reconstruction works, which meant removing the underground parts of all the 44 wooden pillars (seriously damaged with white rot) supporting the building of the Gönpa and replacing them with a concrete base. In recent weeks we have found out that due to their critical condition we will have to remove many pillars completely.
With your kind help and generosity, we have already repaired more than half of the pillars up to now!
For that we want to say a big thank you!
There is still a lot of work to do in order to finish the Gönpa restoration by autumn 2022.
To reach our challenging goal, we still need to collect 16,000 euro.
