Monday April 29, 2019, a full day of Vajra Dance at the Merigar West Gönpa supporting the initiative of the United Nations International Dance Council World Dance Day. The theme for the World Dance Day was Dance and Spirituality.
The Day of Dance was also the last day of the Gomadevi and Vajra Dance Retreat led by Prima Mai, April 26-29. Fortunately participants were able to use the Gönpa for practice, filling two portable Vajra Dance Mandalas, just before the start of two months of major works to the building.
