From November 2 to 4, an open educational and corrective retreat on the Vajra Dance for the Benefit of All Beings with Tatyana Pronicheva was held at Kunsagar North.
The event took place in the gompa. Over 30 people from various cities of Russia took part in it. The geography of the retreat participants was wide: these were dancers from Moscow, Tula, Kazan, Cherepovets and other cities, as well as from Ossetia region. Everybody noted their special inspiration, and it was a full house.
The retreat was open, and both experienced practitioners and a large number of beginners took part in it. The training was very dynamic and diverse. Each thun began with the practice of refuge and Guruyoga and ended with the dedication of merits. The theoretical part alternated with a large amount of dance practice. The atmosphere in the hall was one of joy, beauty and mutual assistance.
The teacher Tatyana Pronicheva was very sensitive to the process of mastering the dance by the participants. Not a single question was left unanswered. All the nuances of the movements were first explained and demonstrated in the group, and then after the practice, the main mistakes were discussed and the participants’ movements were individually corrected. Everyone received individual feedback from her, which was very valuable.
The participants also expressed gratitude to the experienced practitioners and assistants at the reatreat – Snezhana Zhigareva, Kristina Bokova, Kristina Abramyan and others.
Already during the retreat, many participants noted positive changes in their emotional and physical condition, special inspiration, positive thoughts and a sense of unity with others, which they associated with the essential nature of the Vajra Dance practice.
Feelings of calming the mind, slowing down the rhythm of thoughts and movements, a sense of unity with all that exists, a benevolent attitude towards others and inner peace, a feeling of gratitude to the teachers, Chögyal Namkhai Norbu and Yeshi Namkhai, and to all that exists – these are the words with which the participants characterized their feelings at the retreat. These statements reflect the process of essential positive changes on the physical, emotional and spiritual levels, which will undoubtedly contribute to the spiritual growth and improvement of the retreat participants themselves, as well as the space around them.
Special thanks are addressed to the Gakyil, Gekö and all the staff of Kunsagar North for creating wonderful comfortable conditions, providing delicious nutritious food, coordinated actions and quick help in resolving all issues, providing literature on the practice. All this made it possible to hold a wonderful retreat for the benefit of all sentient beings.
