When the invitation for the upcoming Vajra Dance Retreat at Merigar, January 4-6, arrived on the first day of the new year, I immediately felt that this could be an opportunity for me to return to Amiata and the mandala after a long absence. And what a return it was!
A dance class designed and guided by Christiane Rhein and Rita Renzi for those who already knew the dances and with a clever format dedicating each day to one of the three dances and closing each day with a complete Tun of the three dances.
I left home not even knowing where to stay, made the journey to Merigar with rising emotions and arrived in the mandala hall filled with enveloping warmth and danced on a mandala that was always full!
There were alternating moments of dance with moments of contemplation, hints of explanation of technical and more general aspects related to meditation in movement and with rich exchanges of sensations and perceptions experienced to arrive at a collective harmony as strong and light as the colors of Merigar’s beautiful mandala.
How wonderful to start a new year this way and to practice at our best, united and in great harmony.
Thank you Master for these precious dances. Thank you Christiane and Rita, and thank you sisters and brothers old and new. I left for home with a heart full of joy.
