Vajra Dance Video Tutorial

Dear Vajra Siblings,

After 22 days of shooting our film making project has come to an end.

On behalf of the whole team I want to greatly thank absolutely ALL our donors – and especially Libor Maly, Chie Hammons, the Dzogchen Community of China, the Dzogchen Community of Poland, Julian Salter-King, and Anna Apraksina who contributed to 93% of the project budget.

Through our fund raising campaign we managed to collect 28,000 euros.

The donors’ money covered the following expenses:

1. Remuneration for the crew – 8,800 euro

2. Post-production – 7,400 euro

3. Flights – 3,600 euro

4. Catering – 3,000 euro

5. Accomodation – 2,600 euro

6. Equipment rental – 2,000 euro

7. Stationary/office – 650 euro

8. Cars/transportation – 400 euro

9. Make-up/costume – 250 euro

Andrea and Ignazio with Lilia were guardians of our physical energy, providing delicious lunches and juices during the days of shooting.

Again we greatly appreciated the support of the Dzamling Gar Gakyil – Richard, Yanci, Cindy, Natalie and Yana, secretary Guio and Geko Rabgyi for hosting us and responding to our needs and requests, Giovanni and the Meriling team for technical support, and practitioners of the Dzamling Gar Community – Nuria, Stella and all – who helped the project in any way.

On this occassion, as the producer and project manager, I’d like to also apologise to all who may have suffered from my lack of presence or awareness during these intense days.

Personally, in its essence it was for me an experience beyond words and a great inspiration to continue this unique practice. For an opportunity to participate in it and an inspiration to carry on dancing I offer my deepest acknowledgments to Prima, Iza, Rita, Carla, Maurizio, Robert, Monika and Zoli.

Now as we’re done with shooting, we’re getting into the post-production phase – editing that will be later followed by selection of the material for the purpose of the video tutorial and publishing.

In parallel we’re going to investigate development of the online interactive platform for the e-learning purpose as well as mobile applications for Android and iOS based mobile appliances.
