6/30/2015 – This evening, without any warning, the company hosting our website locked the website, after what they perceived as a Denial Of Service attack. We believe the traffic was legitimate however the amount of connections were higher than the amount allowed on in their top level business hosting plan.
As we were notified about the issue, to restore functionality as soon as possible, we had to upgrade the whole platform to a VPS (Virtual Private Server). The transfer is not painless, and we’re working on restoring all the functionalities of the website.
On the bright side, this upgrade will provide a faster and more scalable platform for the website, allowing further growth of the service.
