On February 7, 2020, we celebrated the 30th Anniversary of the International Dzogchen Community of Tashigar South, situated in El Durazno, Tanti, Argentina. During the celebration those present paid homage to Prof. Namkhai Norbu a little more than a year after his passing on September 27, 2018.
The authorities of Tanti Town Hall participated in the event. The town Mayor declared the homage to Master Chögyal Namkhai Norbu to be of Cultural Interest and gave the highest recognition to the International Dzogchen Community Tashigar Sur on its 30th Anniversary.
In addition, the Deliberative Council sanctioned the change of the name of the street currently called “Tupungato” that starts on Route 28, km 143 and leads to the Gar, to the name “Prof. Namkhai Norbu” in recognition of his inestimable work towards world peace, his prestige and accomplishments.
