With the Story of Ranyema and Lunyema

On October 27 at Merigar West we had a wonderful afternoon dedicated to children, practicing Kumar Kumari yoga, telling the story of Ranyema and Lunyema, and creating masks in a Nature Workshop.

It was heartwarming to see the children excited to learn about the new story (which I told them by adapting it to the sounds and movements of Kumar Kumari Yoga). The story of Ranyema and Lunyema is the story most often told by our Master Chögyal Namkhai Norbu, under different circumstances. This story is about the cunningness of a hare (a symbol of intelligence in Tibetan fairy tales) and how he helped Ranyema and Lunyema trick the wolf to save themselves. The children were very engrossed in the story and created the characters in the story enthusiastically during the nature workshop.

A nice Team was created: Sara Valecchi led the children in Kumar Kumari exercises as I told the story to the children, and Sarà Magnelli gave them a great foot massage at the end of the relaxation period. After the snack break, we had a lot of fun with Tanita creating story characters out of autumn materials! As always, the children did not want to leave and the parents asked if there will be a new event in November or later!
