Live concert with Vajra Dance, Khaita Joyful Dance and Tibetan dance

Saturday, July 25th, at 7.30 pm, there will be a special event at the Gönpa of Merigar: Lobsang Delek, singer of some of the Khaita songs such as Bod la Dro (Let’s Go to Tibet), or Phuyana (Up There in the Valley), will give a live concert at Merigar with performances of Vajra Dance, Joyful Khaita Dances and Tibetan dances.
The evening will open with the Dance of the Vajra of the Six Spaces, a symbolic dance of compassion performed on a five-colored mandala, accompanied for the occasion by previously unreleased music that will soon be published; we will then accompany Lobsang Delek’s singing with some well-known Joyful Khaita Dances and other simple circle dances.
At the end of the event, there will be a refreshments with traditional Tibetan momos, along with other food and drinks.
