Dear Friends,
It is with deep sorrow that we inform you that today, Friday, July 17, 2026, at 12:00 p.m., our well-loved Colin Ellar passed away.
Colin was one of Chögyal Namkhai Norbu’s earliest students, as well as a historic Gekö of Merigar and a member of the Red Gakyil. His passing is a loss that deeply affects each and every one of us.
We extend our deepest condolences and our heartfelt sympathy to Yvonne Zuiker and Colin’s entire family.
We invite the sangha to dedicate a practice to him and to support him with our presence and our thoughts during this time of transition.
