In 2015, during the early years of Dzamling Gar, the Dzogchen Community Gar in Tenerife, while Chögyal Namkhai Norbu was composing the Dzamling Gar Song and Dance, one day he spontaneously recited this short poem. Later on Adriana Dal Borgo, who was present on that occasion, asked translator and Tibetologist Elio Guarisco to write the poem down and translate it from an audio recording that was made at the time.

As soon as the sweet fragrance of the lotus flowers is felt
From all and every direction the bees
Gather buzzing and circling:
Likewise at Dzamling Gar a great assembly [of practitioners] gather.

(translated by Elio Guarisco)
