Calligraphy Course with Tashi Mannox, Tsegyalgar East Gonpa, Conway MA
The Shang Shung Institute and Khandroling Paper Cooperative co-hosted a very successful calligraphy weekend with Tashi Mannox from April 4-6 at the Tsegyalgar East Gonpa in Conway MA. Tashi also gave a lecture/demonstration at the Rubin Museum in NYC on the Medicine Buddha Mantra as part of the SSI USA organized tour. Tashi is an immensely gifted calligrapher and artist who transmits his vast knowledge and skilled precision in a very open and charming way. Both organizations hope to bring Tashi back to Western MA on a regular basis as he has already established a group of students through the weekend workshop awaiting his return.
