A special package arrived in front of the Santa Fiora Town Hall this morning: the Dzogchen Community of Merigar decided to donate medical supplies to the Municipality. These include protective suits, n95 and ffp3 masks, disposable gloves, and face shields or protective visors used by frontline operators against Covid-19 to effectively protect the whole face from the risk of contagion.ar
“A gift so precious is very welcome”, says Federico Balocchi, mayor of Santa Fiora, “Confirming once again the universal value of the Merigar Dzogchen Community and its profound link with the Amiata and with our community, as stated several times and concretely testified by the late master Norbu”.
“The Dzogchen Community of Merigar, through the International Ati Yoga Cultural Association in China, organized and distributed donations throughout Italy, Spain, and the United States,” comments Migmar Tsering from the Dzogchen Community of Merigar. “We are very happy to donate protective suits, n95, ffp3 and generic masks, disposable gloves, and face shields to the Municipality of Santa Fiora. This donation comes from the heart. It is an honor and a pleasure for us to contribute to the well-being of the citizens of Mount Amiata with this small action. We thank the Municipality of Santa Fiora, which gave us the opportunity to show our bond with the local area”.

We would like to thank again the Merigar Community which donated masks, suits and other important protective devices to our municipality, which were specially sent from China.
Also today our friend Migmar brought us other highly professional equipment, much of which has already been delivered to all those people who put their health at risk every day to help us, from local health workers, GPs, and palliative care workers up to law enforcement agencies.
Some of the equipment was also donated to the RSA of Arcidosso, Castel del Piano, and Semproniano.
A gesture for which we are grateful and which testifies to the deep bond that exists between the Dzogchen Community of Merigar and Arcidosso.
