Kitty Fox in Colorado
Kitty Fox passed away on 28 May in Boulder Colorado. She was born and educated in the US, and raised two children there before moving to Belize in 1985. She built and operated a beachfront resort in this small Central American country and lived a culturally rich and very adventurous life. She was introduced to the Teachings several years ago, and attended some deeply beneficial retreats with Rinpoche and senior teachers. She was diagnosed in March with cancer that had already spread throughout her body. She decided to spend the final weeks of her life with her family and in practice, rather than trying invasive medical intervention. She knew she would pass soon and she commented that it was a completely natural process, and that she was relaxed and curious about the experience. She is survived by her common-law husband, two adult children and three grandchildren, not to mention many others who knew and loved her well. She died in the company of close family and excellent spiritual friends. Om A Hum
