The Tibetan School of the Shang Shung Foundation is happy to announce two new initiatives to study the Tibetan language at Dzamling Gar this fall 2017!
Drajyor course (October 25-29): Drajyor is a very sophisticated system for phonetic representation of Tibetan Language devised by Chögyal Namkhai Norbu. This course aims to enable students to pronounce standard Tibetan correctly in its base. It is strongly recommended for all, including those who know how to read Tibetan in order to refine their pronunciation.
Tibetan Language course for beginners (October 31 – November 10) dedicated to learning Tibetan language writing and reading. There will be a general introduction to the sacrality, importance and structure of the language, the lettering and so on. Then the morphology of syllables, word formation and all the main feature of the grammar will be examined.
Daily schedule: 10.00 am – 1.30 pm (including half an hour break)
