From February 19th – 23rd, 2025, Migmar Tsering gave a course on making a Namkha in the small Gönpa of the Asian House at Dzamling Gar, Tenerife. The course was held onsite as well as online and participants were able to construct their individual Namkhas during the course.
“The Namkha is a particular object, consisting of a cross covered in colored thread, which was widely used in the ancient Tibetan Bön tradition as attested in many ritual texts. Namkha means Space and it represents the basis or origin of all the elements, and the indispensable support for their various energies. extremely important method for harmonizing the conflicts between the elements that may occur during one’s lifetime and for increasing and expanding all positive and favorable circumstances.”
