Springtime is knocking on our door and nature is slowly waking up for another adventure!
Merigar East would like to introduce you to the unique landscaping project realized on Gar’s grounds. We invite you to be part of it and support it in any way:
- by donating;
- by coming here to help with gardening work;
- by enjoying it here in the near future.
We aim to create a beautiful, peaceful and fruitful oasis near the seaside, a place where you can practice, relax, meet with friends or spend your holidays.
- Growing trees, to also function as a windshield, is an important part of the project (good for cosy hammocks too!).
- Growing food is another: we imagine an orchard full of fruits, vegetables and herbs in the gardens.
- Regenerating the land, harmed by the previous years of intensive agriculture is also one of our wishes.
The project of Merigar East Oasis applies the principles of permaculture (permanent agriculture), opposite to conventional agriculture. Permaculture is a global ethic method for designing integrated systems based on the idea of sustainable development.
