Webcast from Dzamling Gar and Merigar (CET)
Wednesday 23 June at 10:00 we will do a practice of Shitro (led by Nina Robinson) in particular for Francoise Van Den Berg whose ashes will be deposited in the cinerary.
We also remind you that Thursday 24th June is Dzamling Chisang (general, world day of the Sang). At Merigar we will do the Sang and Serkyem practice at 8:30 am.
The Sang rite is primarily a purification, in particular a purification of individual energy. In fact, it is said that each individual has five deities that correspond to the five types of energy that protect and preserve the positive aspects of the individual. When one’s protective energies are weakened, one becomes passive and vulnerable to negative influences. The Sang purifies the obstacles and negative forces related to the places where one lives, because the local guardians and their energy also exert an influence on the individual. The Serkyem is a ritual that serves to make contact or to communicate with the Eight Classes, and in particular with the local guardians.
On the same day at 10 am the practice course of contemplation begins according to the instructions of the first level of the Santi Maha Sangha and in the evening at 18:00 there will be a Ganapuja.
The practices at Merigar take place in the Gönpa and prevention measures remain in force, therefore we ask those who want to participate on site, to communicate to the office the day before or, at least in advance. We also advise you that the windows will remain open in order to achieve satisfactory ventilation in the Gönpa. We remind you to continue to observe the distancing rules and always wear a mask. At Merigar, please leave your cars in the parking lot. Thank you
