In sending out the weekly program we want to let you know that there is a small time change for December 8th. ‘A small tribute to our Master’ will begin at 9:00, instead of 10:00 as originally planned and will end at 10:00. This will give our practitioners, actors or spectators the opportunity to participate in the costume parade that will take place in Arcidosso.
We want to emphasize how important it is that the whole ‘Sky Festival’ event, organized with a lot of work and commitment, has the greatest possible success and participation as it will be a testimony of Merigar’s presence in the area and of our desire to open up and collaborate more and more with the local community.
This, too, is a way to pay homage to the Master on his birthday and create an opportunity for openness, something that the Master always considered important and to which he dedicated himself with great generosity and foresight.
At 3 pm we will do the practice of Tara in the Gönpa and at 4 pm we will receive a visit from the Cardinal Archbishop of the Diocese of Siena, whom we want to warmly welcome and to whom we will show our beautiful Merigar. While the Green Pass is not necessary for the practice of Tara, those who wish to stay for the visit of the Cardinal must be able to present the Super Green Pass.
We also want to remind you of the practice of Sang and Serkyem in the Gönpa on Tuesday 7 December at 8:30 am. Please bring the text with you.
One last thing, in the remote hypothesis that the weather on December 8 is not good, activities in the village will be moved to the theater and to the Castle of Arcidosso.
