Oliver Leick led an online retreat of Guruyoga of the White A with the Invocation of Garab Dorje, from 27 February – 1 March, 2026. The retreat was hosted by Tashigar Norte, and was attended by community members from all over the world.
Oliver brought this practice to life with elegant simplicity and with refreshing references to being a child and the language needed to communicate with and as a child. He presented us with a brilliant visual example of our potentiality meeting a secondary cause – resulting in light/knowledge/self-realization. He patiently reviewed the meaning of every step in the practice, explaining visualizations and practicing melodies.
We heard the voice of Rinpoche doing the practice and outlining its importance. We received a direct introduction from Rinpoche through a recording made when he gave this teaching in the past. We learned to wake up to our own potentiality with a practice that gives us the opportunity to invoke our own direct introduction to the state of Dzogchen.
Oliver’s straightforward teachings shared a deep understanding and the simple truths this understanding reveals.
