A Khaita weekend workshop was held at Merigar West July 18-19 2015. Cristiana de Falco led sessions of pronunciation on several of the Tibetan songs, including Bodbai Bumo, Nas-San Yu-yi Lun-ba, and Tun-dril Bod-gul, explaining the pronunciation and the meaning of the songs.

The dances sessions were led by Topgyal Lama and Tsering Dolker who guided participants step by step through several of the Khaita dances including Sem Kyi yangta M2.3.02, Kha-sang gi milam M2.5.9 and Nas Zang  M3.2.3. On Sunday evening they went thoroughly through several other dances: Kha-bai Bu-mo Chung Chung  M2.5.3, Dra nag M2.5.01 and Bod- psi bu-mo M1.3.7.

The weekend workshop took place in the Gonpa and was well attended and really enjoyed by old and young, expert dancers and newcomers.
