With Dr. Phuntsog Wangmo at Dzamling Gar, March 19-23, 2025
It was a real pleasure to attend the Second Level Tibetan Kunye massage course with my favorite instructor, Dr. Phuntsog Wangmo and her skillful assistants, Menpas Irina Pankevich and Medegma Budaeva.
I adore courses of Kunye, organized by Tibetan Medicine School of Tenerife. They are so relaxing and full of the interesting tips!

During this second level course Dr. Phuntsog showed us different types of treatments for mobilising the joints as well as treatments for some special points. Her explanations were full of the important details and the commentaries by Irina and Medegma were very important and precious!
Kunye is an ancient form of massage therapy taught in Traditional Tibetan Medicine. It is an effective, dynamic healing art for alleviating pathologies of the nervous system and mental disturbances, emotional imbalances including agitation, anxiety, depression, moodiness, forgetfulness and insomnia. It also works with stress related problems including migraine and tension headaches, back pain including upper, middle and lower back, tight muscles, joints, ligaments, neck and shoulder rigidity and poor circulation. The effect is one of deep relaxation allowing the system to restore and rebalance in order to maintain good health and a state of well-being.

I continue to practice Kunye with my relatives and friends and now I feel that I can go deeper into this amazing method!
Once again I wish to thank Dr. Phuntsog for preserving and spreading this ancient tradition and wisdom!
