Vajra Dance Public Book Project

We’re happy to introduce you to the Vajra Dance Public Book Project.

So far those interested in reading about Vajra Dance do not have much material available. With this project, we would like to respond to this need, which has become more and more evident since Dzogchen Teachings are spreading around the world.

The project has the goal of producing, at first, a book dedicated to Chögyal Namkhai Norbu’s own teachings on the Vajra Dance.

It will mostly contain Chögyal Namkhai Norbu’s original writings on the Vajra Dance (specifically on those dances declared “open”), complemented with verified transcriptions from selected oral teachings and commentaries.

This volume will draw part of its text matters from the existing “internal” book on the Dance of the Vajra, translated from Tibetan by Adriano Clemente and published in 2015. It will however be complemented with the descriptions of the steps in order to make them easier to understand, also by minimizing the use of Tibetan terminology.

That is the second reason for this letter, a kind request of collaboration as the project has a cost: the editor’s part that we will be financing is around 5000 Euros.
