vajra dance venice biennale

On the morning of Tuesday, May 9th it was raining, in Venice, Italy … nothing strange, in the spring it often rains! But that day it should not rain. In the afternoon there would be the inauguration of the Venice Biennale, with many events throughout the city. And to open one of these events Gyamtsholing, the Venetian Ling, would present the Dance of the Three Vajras outdoors, in front of the Circolo Ufficiali of the Marina all’Arsenale!

And, in fact, at midday, the sun shone on the streets of Venice, clean and shining after the rain, and a puff of little white clouds appeared on the blue horizon.

Air that was moving, water reflecting, the sun shining and hiding, the living elements that accompanied the dance of our brothers and sisters from Gyamtsholing, as well as those from Kunsalling (Brescia, Italy) and Gelegling (Bologna, Italy) who had come to dance at the Ling of the Ocean.

A beautiful experience of collaboration and practice, amidst the astonished and enchanted tourists and the children taken captive by the magic of the Dance.

Thanks to our Vajra brothers and sisters who gave us the opportunity to live this intense and unforgettable afternoon!
