The two day festival on December 2 and 3 included a gala evening event on December 2 with honorary speeches, music and dancing and on December 3 public presentations of Yantra Yoga, Khaita and Vajra Dance as well as open houses at all the houses with many offerings of food, crafts and Tibetan Culture. With deep sadness we share that our dear Mohan past away on the night of December 8, 2023 in Tenerife. Mohan was a kind soul with a huge devotion and respect to Rinpoche.
Despite the many challenges facing the world and Dzamling Gar the year of 2020, Dzamling Gar continues to provide a rich program of courses and activities, including daily and weekly practices.
In 1981, Chögyal Namkhai Norbu, together with the first group of his students, chose a farm in the Amiata area of Tuscany, Italy as the first Gar of the Dzogchen Community. As a result Merigar, the Residence of the Mountain of Fire, was established.
Thursday 24th June is Dzamling Chisang (general world day of the Sang). At Merigar we will do the Sang and Serkyem practice at 8:30 am.
