An intensive practice retreat of Jnana Dakini took place under the skilful guidance of Santi Maha Sangha instructor Steven Landsberg at Kunsalling (in the North of Italy) from August 11th to 15th.
During the different sessions held at Kunsalling around 15-20 Dzogchen Community members joined online the participants who were there in person. Some of the sessions included Guruyoga of the White A, the 7th Lojong, and Chöd.
Participants had to carry all the basic necessities (food, sleeping bag, etc. ) to the retreat place and share common rooms, such as the Gönpa-dormitory, kitchen, bathroom, and so on. A real sense of community and reciprocal care developed among all the community members participating.
Kunsalling (the place of total clarity), which was visited in 1991 by Chögyal Namkhai Norbu, is situated in the Garda Lake Nature Park, north-east of Brescia, 1350 m. above sea level, and can be reached after a two hour drive and half an hour slow walking from the town. The site can be used for personal retreat from the late spring to the end of September and also offers a dark room. Members of the local community take interested practitioners to the site.
