Join our online guided translation course, Introduction to Tibetan Language part II and III and the annual Training for translators from Tibetan, onsite or online!
Guided translation course with Fabian Sanders
A series of nine, ninety minutes online meetings every week 5-6:30pm (Italian time) in which we will focus on the parts concerning the View as explained in the Precious Vase by Chögyal Namkhai Norbu.
The instructor will guide the translation, reading and analysing the grammar in great detail, while participants may read a short passage and try to decipher the grammar, words and propose a translation with suggestions by other participants and the instructor.
All lectures will be audio and video recorded and made available to all students!
The course will be confirmed upon reaching a minimum number of participants.
You can participate to the first lesson as a trial class.
Contribution: One class 18.00 EUR. Full package of nine classes 150 EUR

Introduction to Tibetan Language II & III
A three-session course to set the base for learning the Tibetan Dharma Language and to exert yourself in reading, writing, and understanding the texts of the Tibetan tradition.
Session II (19 – 21 May):
Short analysis of syllables and word production. Guided reading of some well-known texts with explanation of some of the main grammatical aspects involved.
Session III (24 – 27 May):
Short analysis of syllables and word production. Guided reading of some well-known texts with explanation of some of the main grammatical aspects involved. Participation to the course (and of course assimilation of its contents) will enable students to participate in the beginners´ translation course held every year at Merigar and online.
Sessions II & III will be confirmed once we reached a minimum amount of students interested before April 30th. Otherwise the course will be online only.
