Greetings from Bucharest!
Between April 30 and May 3, 2105, the Romanian Sangha had the third Santi Maha Sangha Base course of the year with instructor Jacek Machowski from Poland. The topic was the reputed Chapter 5. Despite the huge benefit of having Merigar East in our country, we are still a small Community geographically scattered in all the four courners. So you can imagine our joy when old practitioner Dan Toganel came up with the idea to deepen our knowledge of Dzogchen and practically triggered this avalanche of Santi Maha Sangha gatherings.
Vajra brothers and sisters traveled enthusiastically even from the Far North of Romania to meet up and receive Jacek’s explanations. Jacek not only generously helped us strike the essential points, but also shared with us his precious personal life experiences, like an old friend. Switching from point of view to point of view to point of view has at times been quite challenging for the Dzogchen newbies, but if that’s what it takes to open the mind, that’s what it takes.
We are all very grateful for this opportunity and look forward to our next Santi Maha Sangha retreat in Bucharest, which will be held between June 18-21, 2015.
Long life to Rinpoche! May we all integrate our real nature!
Alexandru Anton,
from Merigar East Blue Gakyil
