Dr Phuntsog Wangmo gave a very well received public talk on April 9th, 2024 at the Adeje Auditorium entitled The Oncological Patient According to Tibetan Medicine. The Tibetan Medicine program collaborated with the Carrera por la Vida Foundation, a foundation for cancer research, directed by Brigitte Gypen. The volunteers of the Foundation were also present. Ilaria Faccioli, Director of the Tibetan Medicine program in Tenerife, gave a seamless translation from English to Spanish.

On April 4th, Dr Phuntsog was interviewed on Radio Sur Adeje on an English speaking station and on April 8th, on the the topic “The Integrative Way between Tibetan Medicine and Conventional Medicine”. Casilda González, the Director of Institutional Relations, Atiyoga Foundation, Canary Islands, was interviewed on the Spanish Radio Sur Adeje on the same topic. Casilda has a degree in pharmacology and is a specialist on Oncological Radiotherapy, Nuclear Medicine and Radiology.
